Booking and Payment

To book our services, you must provide accurate and complete booking information.

Your booking is not confirmed until Impression DJs has received your AUD $200.00 non-refundable booking deposit. For New Years Eve events a AUD $500.00 non-refundable booking deposit is required.

Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer direct deposit and details are provided with the formal quote. We also accept payment through Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX). All prices are in the currency indicated. Our bank details will be emailed.

Our receipt of your part or full payment is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Once we have received your deposit a Booking Confirmation will be emailed.

The remaining balance must be paid seven (7) days before the scheduled event date.

Services and Equipment

Impression DJs will provide professional DJ and related services for the agreed duration and scope of the event. We will make reasonable efforts to meet your music preferences.

Equipment: Impression DJs will provide all necessary sound and lighting equipment for the event. In the event of equipment failure, we will make every effort to replace or repair it promptly. However, we cannot be held liable for any disruptions caused by unforeseen technical issues.

Responsibilities and Liabilities

Venue and Access: It is your responsibility to ensure that the event venue allows DJs and provides suitable space and power outlets. Any additional fees or restrictions imposed by the venue are your responsibility.

Conduct and Safety: You are responsible for the conduct and safety of all guests attending the event. Any damages caused by you or your guests to the equipment or property will be your financial responsibility.

Our liability under or in connection with this agreement or any failure to comply with any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law is limited to a refund of the fees you paid to us. Our maximum liability under this agreement must not exceed the fees paid by you to us. We are not liable to you for any loss, damage, injury, or costs whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly (including of a consequential nature) in connection with the services provided to you, except to the extent that such liability may not lawfully be limited or excluded. For the avoidance of doubt, this extends to our employees, contractors, and agents.

Rescheduling

In the event the Customer requires a rescheduling of the booked service, Impression DJs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, subject to availability. However, it is acknowledged by both parties that Impression DJs may not be able to provide the services on the requested rescheduled date due to prior commitments or other limitations. In such cases, Impression DJs reserve the right to provide alternative dates for the provision of services, or if no suitable alternative is available, to cancel the booking upon mutual agreement between both parties. Any fees or deposits paid by the Customer shall be subject to the terms of cancellation outlined in this agreement.

COVID-19. If you need to re-schedule your event due to NSW Government Covid-19 restrictions; there is no financial penalty. If your event is cancelled due to NSW Government Covid-19 restrictions; you may – at the discretion of Impression DJs, be entitled to a refund of monies paid. An admin fee equal to 20% of funds paid applies.

Additional Terms

Loss and/or Damage. The client is liable for any loss or damage to Impression DJs equipment and/or the DJ’s personal belongings, caused by the client and/or your guests.

Crew/Staff Meal. The client is required to provide the DJ with a crew/vendor meal and non-alcoholic beverages during the event.

Additional Play Time beyond four (4) hours OR five (5) hours depending on your booked event times, is charged at a reduced hourly rate. Additional play time requested during the event will be invoiced to the client and is payable upon receipt of the tax invoice.

DJ/MC Parking. Where indicated parking fees incurred are charged to the client. These fees are subject to change and may differ from the quote provided to you at the time of booking given the parking provider’s charges are not in our control (i.e.: venue, council, etc).

Our Payment Terms are PREPAID. Full payment is required 7 days prior to event date unless alternative payment arrangements are agreed to by Impression DJs. We will provide you with a tax invoice.

In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.

Miscellaneous

Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights related to our services, including music playlists and mixes, remain the property of Impression DJs. Unauthorized recording or distribution of our performances is strictly prohibited.

Privacy: Any personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent.

Amendments: Impression DJs reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website. By continuing to use our services, you agree to the revised terms and conditions.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Impression DJs operates.
